Open Gear Wash (PK-140) is a viscous, petroleum-based product designed to clean open gearing. Designed to be applied through automatic spray system in place of open gear lubricant, greatly reducing downtime. Can be used alone or in conjunction with Open Gear Bare when wanting to go down to bare metal for inspection purposes. WARNING: Open Gear Wash is not an open gear lubricant. It is designed for cleaning open gears and must not be used indefinitely. Regular monitoring of the gearing temperature and visual inspections is necessary while using Open Gear Bare.
