Removes particulate matter from the air

A baghouse is usually composed of many long, slender bags that are hanging upside down in a large enclosure. The purpose of a baghouse is to remove particulate matter from the air by passing dust ridden air up through the bag, trapping the dust in the bag, and then forcing clean air out through the top of the bag.

A baghouse is a critical path item. Meaning, if your baghouse is down, your operation is down. A baghouse works to remove moisture while your combustion system works to heat material so that satisfactory drying is achieved.

Industrial Kiln & Dryer Group is pleased to provide all types, sizes, diameters and lengths of bags. Additionally, we offer them in basic polyester, polypropylene, aramid P84, Teflon fiber and more. Diaphragm Valves

We can replace diaphragm valves on your rotary kiln, dryer or ball mill. This includes whole valve replacement, solenoid only, or rebuilding of valve.


We supply galvanized steel cages for our baghouse in singles or multiples. For best fit, we ask you send a sample cage in to us.

Filter Bags

Snap band, cuffed bags as well as customized options are all available. We’ll need to know the length of your bag as well as type (snap, cuffed, etc.) material, pleat measurements and some other important information. For best fit, we ask that you send a sample bag to us.

Level Indicators

Level indicators sit inside the bag and set an alarm off if material is not being filtered out properly.

Photohelic gage/pressure switch

A photohelic gage/pressure switch monitors the difference in clean air pressure to the dirty air pressure. You can provide us a part number for an exact match or we can help you spec one out.

Pulse Board

We can replace your pulse board, which is inside your bags, and acts as a timer to pulse your baghouse at a continuous and uniform rate. We’ll supply the pulse board with an appropriate number of channels to your baghouse’s blow pipes.

Blow Pipes

Blow pipes go across the top of the baghouse and are galvanized pipe, capped on one end and open on the other end to accept the diaphragm valve. There are holes in it to go over the top center of the bags. Nozzles can be customized for even air flow.

Screw Conveyor

A screw conveyor or auger conveyor is a mechanism that uses a rotating helical screw blade, called a "flighting", usually within a trough or tube, to move granular solids. Screw conveyors can be used horizontally or at a slight incline as an efficient way to move aggregate dust. As the angle of inclination increases, the capacity of a given unit rapidly decreases. This part is modularly constructed and is made up of both standard and specialized units. We can supply helical auger flights or sectional flight augers. We can help determine the auger for your baghouse.


A thermocouple goes on the clean air side, inside of a baghouse and keeps the air temperature up. We can supply J type, K type and others and in various lengths.

Door Seals

Door seals are custom to your operation taking into consideration temperature, door configuration and gas chemistry. Door seals prevent outdoor air from leaking into your baghouse operation.

Rotary Airlocks

Rotary Airlock Valves are a type of rotary feeder and are often referred to simply as a Rotary Airlock or Rotary Valve. They provide feeding and metering functionality of a standard rotary feeder, but their primary duty is to maintain pressure and provide an optimal airlock seal between different product conveying transitions, such as gravity to pneumatic conveying lines.

Vane Feeders

Similar to a Rotary Airlock, Vane Feeders meter a set amount of material from the inlet to the outlet based on the speed of the rotor.

Tube Sheet Assembly / Tube Sheet Replacement

Tube sheets have holes to support the bags in your baghouse. If you have snap band bags, they must fit perfectly in holes of tube sheet to make a good seal. We can work with you to determine proper bag size to fit your tube sheet perfectly.
