Trent Jones joined the Industrial Kiln & Dryer Group (IKD) team in June 2023, coming onboard as a Project Manager.

Trent completed his education there, graduating from high school and earning his welding certificate from the local Vocational/Technical school. Soon after, he began a career in the aggregate industry, initially working as a welder, as well as fabricator building and repairing portable crusher plants and conveyor systems.

Years later, following a downturn in his area’s aggregate business, Trent began working with rotary equipment, primarily kilns and ball mills. He worked with a local kiln company, and later took a position with a major kiln company as a Superintendent. In 2013, he joined a local welding company, conducting repairs, fabricating, and installing new systems for the past decade.
